1Julina FelidaMiss Bonaire 99; Julina Felida is the current director of the Miss Bonaire Pageant as well as other national pageants on the island. She was crowned first runner-up Miss Bonaire 1997/1998, which entitled her to represent Bonaire at the Miss World Pageant in 1998 but decided not to compete. Instead she represented Bonaire at the Miss Caraibes Hibiscus pageant in St. Martin. Hand picked by the national director and crowned Miss Bonaire 1998/1999, Julina represented Bonaire at the Miss Universe pageant in 1999 in Trinidad & Tobago. Later that year she received a last minute offer by the World Beauty Organization to compete at the Top Model of the World pageant in Germany, which she had to decline due to a lack of sponsors. 2Uzmin EvertsMiss Bonaire 98; Uzmin Everts is the last Miss Bonaire who represented Bonaire at the Miss Universe pageant in19983Jhane LandwierMiss Bonaire 97; Jhane Landwier was crowned first runner-up Miss Bonaire 1996 and made Bonaire's debut to the Miss World Pageant that same year. Up to this day Jhane is the only contestant to represent Bonaire at two Grand Slam beauty pageants (the Miss World in 1996 and the Miss Universe in 1997).
